day 6 - A very significant day!

Yet another day with no post that was because we were both feeling a bit tired.  We have been hard at since our arrival at Springwood Haven and both felt a bit jaded.  Day 5 was yet another day of treating, sanding, removing and then eventually Jenny did some masking, which is what she had been bought along for!!!!

However, Day 6, ie today we made huge progress and Sid actually did some painting.  Sid practiced his brush strokes on the hatch cover and the outcome was even better than he hoped.  It looks brilliant and it has filled him with confidence.  He also managed to get two coats of Off White on the roof.  So a successful day all round.

And even Jenny was allowed a paintbrush and some paint today!!!

All the windows are now out and most of them have been rubbed, scrubbed and sprayed. The cut outs have all been treated and are ready to be sanded tomorrow.

Both feeling much happier tonight.
