Part 2 of our 2019 cruise - June

Well, we are now back on board and it is June - summer!?? No way!    So, we are back to warm trousers and fleeces  and have even seen fellow boaters in woolie hats.
We are making our way northward  to head up the Caldon Canal but moored early today  becoming victims to the cold wind and rain.  We have also resorted to a fire! Heigh Ho good old British weather!

Before setting out from Great Haywood Marina we  had a day washing and polishing Hunters Moon and also took the opportunity to catch up with our very good friends, Dave and Val, who were fortunately home from their many trips out and about around the country on their caravan adventures.

Wednesday 5th June

The best that can be said for today was that it stayed dry!

As we travelled from our beautiful mooring near Burston, through Stone and finally ending the day at Barleston the main topic of conversation with fellows boaters was just how cold it was. It must get better!

Sorry no photos!
